“Will what is molded say to its molder, ‘Why have you made me thus?’
Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel
for beauty and another for menial use?”
                      -- Romans 9:20-21

So, God, I am not feeling loved,
and I refuse to believe that it

is

ever the man’s fault
in

one

of those God/man
relationships.

It is always the God’s fault.

If I build a vase that leaks, is it
the vase’s fault?  Or is it my fault?

Yes, you can blame it
on the clay,

bad clay,
faulty clay,
inferior clay –

But know –

that a vasemaker is
responsible for even
the choosing of
the quality of
the clay.

This is true
of an omnipotent God
and Its

creation,
creativity,
Create.
